anti social camp nyc is the largest songwriting festival in the world, taking place june 8-12 in new york. known as the sxsw for songwriters, the festival hosts 200 recording sessions and 10 iconic events with artists like pinkpantheress, nile rodgers, glass animals, miranda lambert, jacob collier, ava max, cigarettes after sex, moby, walk the moon, cash cobain, andy grammar and jp saxe, as featured in the new yorker, forbes and billboard. see below for detailed itinerary. created by songwriters for the purpose of building community, the festival is completely free for all accepted artists.
We kicked off the week Monday morning with the iHeartRadio anti social music conference at NYU Steinhardt — presenting our icon award to legend Busta Rhymes alongside conversations with partners SyncStudio, musixmatch, KOSIGN, Suno and industry leaders.
Monday evening, hundreds of festival-goers packed out the Music Hall of Williamsburg for the Anti Social Camp Industry Showcase presented by musixmatch, featuring Serpentwithfeet and 25 headlining artists, complete with live lyric videos. Both events were also part of New York Music Month.
The city came alive as creators went to work at 200 recording sessions across 40 iconic studios.
The TikTok artist lounge became home base throughout the week at Chelsea Studios- hosting creator content, industry 1×1 mentoring sessions and popups from Tidal, SoundOn, Suno and Sound Royalties.

Tuesday evening brought the Youtube Writers Round to the legendary Power Station at BerkleeNYC. Frances Forever and 25 artists told the stories behind the songs at our acoustic showcase in the most intimate moment of the week.
We cleaned up good on the red carpet for the Anti Social Gala presented by Jack Daniel’s Wednesday night at Roxy Williamsburg. From erick the architect to watching the Knicks miracle win, it became one of those New York nights.
With recording sessions entering their final stretch Thursday night, artists gathered for an evening with Tidal before raising a Jack Daniel’s Shot for Writers Block at Chelsea Studios.
The week wrapped at Public Records with the Tidal playback party. It was the world premiere of 100+ songs created throughout camp and a celebration of everything that happened over five days together.
The Anti Social Education Summit was presented by the SESAC Adopt-A-School Initiative Saturday morning at the LIU Roc Nation School of Music, Sports and Entertainment. Hundreds of students from NYC high schools, undergraduate and graduate programs had the opportunity to learn from music industry leaders through a series of panels. Students also received feedback on their songs from hit artists including Lawrence, Thutmose, AJ Smith, Jillian Shea and representatives from 300 Elektra Entertainment, Sony Music Publishing, Republic Records and more.
In the afternoon, selected students entered the recording studios for the Anti Social Student Minicamp presented by DistroKid. Advocacy organizations like Sound Thinking NYC and Building Beats helped contribute to an unforgettable day for young emerging songwriters.
